Working for Outback firefighting was a great opportunity and I am glad that I could be a part of it. The training is amazing and I enjoyed working closely with the crews that I went out on fire assignments with. I would recommend working for this company. The leadership is good and so is the pay!
It was an absolute privilege working on camp crew doing weed wash and transports for Outback Firefighting this year. Very friendly and respectful environment, with plenty of opportunity for advancement and great pay. I without a doubt will be returning next year!
The past few years working as a firefighter for Outback Firefighting have been amazing. I've had the opportunity to work my way up and grow both personally and professionally. The work is hard, but incredibly rewarding. I've met some great people, made lasting friendships, and had experiences I'll never forget. Outback has given me opportunities to challenge myself and continue advancing.
During the 2026 fire season, I had the opportunity to be a part of the transporting crew. I delivered and picked up OHVs to and from fires all over the country. I loved every minute of it. I saw and experienced so much of the American countryside that I had never seen before. Being part of such an experienced company made checking in and out of the fire camps smooth and hassle free because of the reputation Outback has built within the fire community. I can't wait until next year.
